US General Secretary Mike Pompeo to arrive in Sri Lanka today

US General Secretary Mike Pompeo will arrive in Sri Lanka for a two-day official visit.

He will hold bilateral discussions with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The visit to Sri Lanka is a part of the US top official's diplomatic tour in South and South-Eastern Asia. He is visiting India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia. 

Pompeo will leave Sri Lanka tomorrow. The government stated that his entourage including security, media and other officials were following strict quarantine regulations.
